Applesmoke Salmon

Applesmoke organic salmon is only available from Andrew and Sigrid Appleby, at the Fursbreck Pottery, in Harray, Orkney.

The origins of this delicious recipe are lost in the distant past. When Andrew was only 17 years old he praised an old fisherman's smoked sprats. This Ancient Mariner gave young Andrew his secret recipe which he has kept safely to this day.

Now Andrew and Sigrid, of Fursbreck Pottery, have Orkney's beautiful organic salmon smoked professionally for them, using the special woods that they search out in south west France.

Their smoked salmon has the finest of textures and flavours. It is vacuum packed and can be purchased from the pottery or sent by mail.
